Welcome to Her Ambitious Career, the personal branding and success podcast for ambitious corporate women who expect more from their careers.
My guest today is Judith Sturman, who is sharing her experiences as a successful introverted leader.
Despite most corporate cultures favouring an extroverted communication style (think presenting to a group; being asked for an opinion on the spot; being expected to 'take part' in group or team activities), introverts can thrive professionally and in leadership.
Judith and I are continuing our discussion about tapping into introverted leadership strengths and exploring:
"There are many strengths of an introverted style including strategic thinking, planning and forward thinking. Introverts can help themselves by telling their boss or their team of their preferred ways of communicating to set expectations from the outset." (Judith Sturman, guest on Her Ambitious Career podcast)
